Laxmikant Parsekar backs Joshua de Souza in Mapusa

: Former chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar said that if BJP’s Mapusa bypoll candidate Joshua de Souza is elected, he will be the youngest MLA in the state legislative assembly.

Speaking to reporters after releasing the

BJP’s manifesto

for Mapusa,

Parsekar

said, “He (Joshua) will be the youngest MLA in the House if elected to the legislative assembly. Mapusa town has given Goa a chief minister, a deputy chief minister, and is now planning to give the state its youngest MLA.”

The manifesto promises a slew of development projects for Mapusa. Besides Parsekar, also present were chairperson, Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC), Ryan Braganza, councillors Sandeep Falari, Rajsingh Rane and others. “I will work for Mapusa. To my good luck, I have a team of councillors who can support and also guide me along every step of the way,” said Joshua.
