Tej Pratap Yadav candidate’s papers rejected
PATNA: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav suffered a jolt as his nominee Angesh Singh’s papers from Sheohar parliamentary seat were rejected in scrutiny on Wednesday. Syyed Faisal Ali is the official RJD candidate from Sheohar.
Tej had, in fact, held a roadshow for Angesh in Sheohar and called the RJD nominee a BJP agent.
Tej, who was to hold a roadshow for his second nominee Chandra Prakash in Jehanabad against RJD candidate Surendra Yadav, cancelled his programme. He was supposed to go there by a chopper, but did not turn up. However, Tej is not missing any chance to support his elder sister Misa Bharti, who is contesting from Pataliputra seat. He is likely to accompany Misa during her filing of nomination papers on Thursday.
