PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi to address rallies in Bihar today

PATNA: PM Narendra Modi and

Congress president Rahul Gandhi

will be in Bihar on Saturday to address two separate election rallies. Modi will also address a rally in

Darbhanga

on April 25.


While Modi will address an election rally at the Forbesganj airport ground in Araria

Lok Sabha

constituency around 11am in favour of BJP candidate Pradip Kumar Singh, Rahul will address a separate rally at Gandhi Maidan in

Supaul district

town under in favour of his party candidate and sitting Supaul MP Ranjit Ranjan.

Both Araria and Supaul will go to the polls in the third phase on April 23.

State Congress’s media department head H K Verma on Friday said AICC incharge for Bihar Shaktisinh Gohil and BPCC president Madan Mohan Jha have been camping in Supaul to make Rahul’s rally a grand success.

Election in Supaul has become a prestige issue for the Congress and the JD(U) as CM Nitish Kumar has addressed three rallies in the constituency in the last three days.
