CHENNAI: In a blistering attack on
DMK govt, PMK president
Anbumani Ramadoss has labelled the party as the “biggest fraud in India” and challenged chief minister
M K Stalin to stop spreading “lies” about fulfilling its promises.
In a post on X on Thursday, Anbumani asserted that DMK does not need to release a new manifesto for the polls; instead, it should simply re-publish the 439 promises from 2021 that remain unfulfilled. He accused the chief minister and his cabinet of constantly shifting their narrative on performance.
“First, they claimed of fulfilling 98% of the promises, then 85%, and now they are back to claiming 100%,” he said.
Referring to his white paper titled ‘Where is the dawn?’ (Vidiyal enge?) released last Aug, Anbumani claimed that out of 505 promises made in 2021, only 66 (roughly 13%) have been partially implemented.
