Karthika. M (Naam Tamilar Katchi), Latha. T (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Surenthar. K (Puthiya Tamilagam), Senthil Pandian. P (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), Vadivel Ravanan. S (Pattali Makkal Katchi), Vedha Mukundhan (Aanaithinthiya Jananayaka Pathukappu Kazhagam), and Jaivishnudevi. M (Independent) — 7 candidates contesting from Kilvelur in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Kilvelur is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency. In 2021, Nagaimaali V P of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) won by a margin of 16,985 votes. The 2016 winner was U. Mathivanan of the DMK. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Kilvelur in 2026.
