Congress’s V. P. Sajeendran has won the seat. Manikuttan A. T. (Bahujan Samaj Party), Adv. P. V. Sreenijin (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), V. P. Sajeendran (Congress), Babu Divakaran (Twenty 20 Party), and Vazhakulam Bhasi (Independent) — 5 candidates contested from Kunnathunad in Kerala's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Kunnathunad is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Chalakudy Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, Adv.
