Kerala: Kodiyeri urges partymen to work towards re-electing LDF govt

, CPM candidate for Vattiyoorkkavu in Thiruvanthapuram on Thursday, Kodiyeri said the likes of Ambani and Adani are “hindus” for whom BJP is standing for and not the ordinary RSS workers.


Kodiyeri said Rahul Gandhi came to Kerala to organize a tractor rally while J P Nadda went to Puducherry to purchase Congress MLAs. The resignation of

has rocked Congress. He added that many leaders will quit Congress in the coming days.

Speaking at the first public meeting after he went for treatment more than a year ago, Kodiyeri said that it is a time when all need to work for re-electing LDF government. Many of the Congress leaders are switching sides to BJP. “A few days ago, BJP state president K Surendran said the party will form government in Kerala if it gets 35 seats. What he meant was that BJP will buy Congress MLAs,” Kodiyeri said.

For fighting BJP, re-electing LDF government is required, Kodiyeri said, adding that the LDF government in the state introduced a lot of development projects over the past five years.
