Former Goa CMs make comeback; Laxmikant Parsekar voted out

PANAJI: Senior Congress leader Pratapsingh Rane in Poriem, Congress nominee Ravi Naik and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate Churchill Alemao were among three of the four former chief ministers who won and staged a comeback while outgoing incumbent, Laxmikant Parsekar of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), crashed out.
Another chief ministerial candidate, Elvis Gomes of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also lost in Cuncolim constituency to Congress nominee, Clafasio Dias.

Former chief minister and Congress nominee Digamber Kamat is leading in Margao constituency.
