. The chief electoral officer of Delhi has already put in place an elaborate mechanism to check cash and liquor flow during the elections. AAP’s teams will work as vigilantes against opposition parties.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said the party had received information that money and liquor were being distributed in some areas, so the teams were formed to keep a track on such incidents.

“All teams are equipped with mobile phones to record distribution of cash and liquor. Anyone who comes across such incidents, where money or liquor is being distributed by any political party, can send us evidence over WhatsApp on the number 9355015501,” said Singh.

Meanwhile, AAP lodged a complaint with the Election Commission on Thursday after it learned that “many BJP MPs were staying in different constituencies from February 4 to 8.” This is an open violation of the model code of conduct because after the end of campaigning, no MP or cabinet minister can stay in Delhi, unless he is a resident of the city. “We met EC and requested it to ask them not to stay in Delhi,” Singh said.
