Hailakandi Assembly Election Results 2026 Highlights: BJP's Milon Das wins by over 55800 votes
Milon Das (Bharatiya Janata Party), Rahul Roy (Congress), Mayukh Bhattacharjee (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Ajit Nunia (Independent), Gautam Kanti Das (Independent), Gautam Nath (Independent), Jibon Roy (Independent), Tinku Bhushan Nath (Independent), Dhrubo Chakraborty (Independent), Binod Ree (Independent), Bishal Singha Malakar (Independent), and Subash Goon (Independent) — 12 candidates contesting from Hailakandi in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Hailakandi is a General constituency under the Karimganj Lok Sabha segment, with 129,031 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Zakir Hussain Laskar of the All India United Democratic Front won by a margin of 23,754 votes. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Hailakandi in 2026.
