A 12-year-old homeschooled Indian ex-pat boy, Tazeen Swabri released his book, God of Dragons-The Beginning in November at the Sharjah International Book Fair. Tazeen published his first novel in the 7 series of the fantasy novel series. Tazeen gained attention for being the only homeschooled child among the young authors. The book has 300 pages and Tazeen has already started writing the second part.
He has used dragons and dinosaurs to reflect his views on life, where dragons represent the characters of the novel to reflect his views of war, peace and worldly affairs.
Tazeen along with his elder 15-year-old brother Naji Swabri has been homeschooled and both have been working as volunteers at the Dubai Astronomy Group and have now learnt to operate single-engine flight cockpits by watching videos and using simulators at home. accounting field, said that her sons have been learning a whole lot of skills through the internet. Khader said that when her sons were enrolled in online classes in an Indian curriculum during COVID-19, they topped the school but were not satisfied with the education system and homework. So they withdrew from the school and started being homeschooled.
Tazeen completed the book in just 8 months and is set in a fictional land called Panzuana, and centred around the lives of dragon siblings, Mark and Pearl with their mother
Helen. The book was published by Al Rewaya and is available at major bookstores and online platforms. His elder brother, Naji is currently completing his examinations for the Secondary Certification at the National Institute of Open Schooling in India. He is also skilled in 3D modelling, game development and animation and is passionate about aviation, space and rocket science and loves dancing and acting. He also designed the animation video trailer for Tazeen’s book launch.
