When will CISCE Class 10th and 12th results be released? Here's what we know so far

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to declare the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results for the 2025–26 academic session in the last week of April. The ICSE as well as the ISC results were released on April 30, 2025. Previously, in 2024, the results were announced on May 6, while in 2023, the declaration took place on May 14. Approximately 2.6 lakh students appeared for ICSE exams, and 1.5 lakh have appeared for ISC exams 2026.

The ICSE Class 10th exams were conducted from February 17 to March 30, 2026. The Class 12th exam is being held from February 12 to April 6, 2026.

Students who appeared for the examinations are advised to regularly monitor the official website, cisce.org, for verified updates. Officials typically announce the result date a few days in advance. Candidates are cautioned against relying on unverified sources or circulating rumours regarding the declaration.

CISCE Class 10th and 12th result: Last year's statistics

Last year, The ICSE Class 10th results were declared. Over 2.4 lakh students accessed their scores online at 11 AM through official websites. The overall pass percentage stood at an impressive 99.02%, with girls outperforming boys. Students can check and download their marksheets using login credentials, while schools can access consolidated results via the Careers portal.

CISCE had announced the ISC Class 12 Result 2025 on April 30. Over two lakh students have been able to view their marks online. The pass percentage is an impressive figure of 99.02%. ISC Class 12 result 2025: Where and how to check

Students will be able to access their ISC Class 12 results through multiple official platforms once they are declared.

• Official websites: Candidates can visit cisce.org or results.cisce.org, click on the ISC or ICSE result 2025 link, and enter their unique ID, index number, and captcha code to view and download their marksheets.

• DigiLocker: Digitally verified marksheets and pass certificates will be available on DigiLocker for students logged in using Aadhaar-linked credentials.

ISC/ICSE Class 12 result 2025 online: Steps to check

• Go to the official result portal at results.cisce.org.
• Select “ISC” or "ICSE" under the course option.
• Enter the required details, including Unique ID and Index Number.
• Complete the captcha verification and click on “Submit.”
• The result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and print a copy for future use.

ICSE Class 10th,12th result 2025: Post-result process

The students who are not content with the results and wish to apply for rechecking or reevaluation can apply through the CISCE online portal. The students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for compartmental examinations, and these are expected to be held in July.

For admissions to higher educational institutions, the digital marksheets and certificates obtained from CISCE are valid documents for admissions to universities and colleges across the country, and these documents are to be distributed to students later.

Once the results are announced, the students who wish to apply for rechecking of the Class 10th answer sheets can apply through the online portal within the deadline stipulated for the application process, and a prescribed fee of ₹1,000 is to be paid for each subject.

The marksheets that are issued to the students are digitally authenticated and contain a QR code for verification. The digital copies are valid for all admissions and academic purposes, and the hard copies are to be sent to the schools later.
