The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2026 admit card. On June 5, 2026, the board activated the download link for the JELET 2026 admit card. Candidates can access it through the official portal at wbjeeb.nic.in. The download window will remain open until 1 PM on June 13, 2026 after which access will be shut without exception.
The JELET 2026 examination is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026. The test will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode in a single shift from 11 AM to 1 PM. Candidates must log in using their Application Number and Date of Birth, followed by a security PIN displayed on the screen. Once submitted, the admit card appears for verification. Candidates are required to download it immediately and keep multiple printed copies. Any mismatch in details or failure to carry a hard copy on exam day can result in disqualification from entry.
The JELET 2026 question paper will carry 100 objective-type questions, carrying a total of 120 marks. The duration is fixed at two hours, demanding both accuracy and pace.
Out of the total questions, 70 will come from general engineering and science-based topics, while the remaining 30 will focus on the candidate’s specialised stream.
The syllabus spans Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. For the specialisation segment, questions will align with the candidate’s diploma or BSc background, making preparation highly stream-specific.
