WBJEE registration 2026 underway at wbjeeb.nic.in: Check steps to apply here

The WBJEEB has announced an extension to the registration period for WBJEE 2026. The new registration period will continue until April 8, 2026. Previously, the registration process was scheduled to begin on March 10, 2026.

After the closure of the application process, the Board will open a correction window from April 10 to April 12, 2026. During this period, candidates will be allowed to make necessary changes to their submitted forms and download updated confirmation pages.

In its official notice, the Board stated, “In consideration of repeated requests from various stakeholders, especially the aspiring candidates, the date of registration for WBJEE-2026 is hereby extended upto 08.04.2026… All other terms and conditions, as stipulated earlier, will remain unchanged.”

The admit card download facility will be available from May 15 to May 24, 2026, up to 4:00 p.m. on the day of the examination.

The WBJEE exam for 2026 will be held on Sunday, May 24, with two papers in two different sessions. Paper I of Mathematics will start at 11:00 a.m. and will last till 1:00 p.m. Paper II, which will include questions on Physics & Chemistry, will commence at 2:00 p.m.
