The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 provisional answer key today, May 27, on its official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download the model answer key online.

Along with the answer key, the board has also opened the objection window for candidates who want to challenge any answer mentioned in the provisional key.

Candidates can submit objections till May 29, 2026, up to 11:59 PM through the online portal.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to download the WBJEE provisional answer key:

2. Click on the “WBJEE 2026 Answer Key” link on the homepage
3. Enter the application number, password, date of birth, and security pin
4. Submit the login details
5. The WBJEE 2026 answer key PDF will appear on the screen

WBJEE 2026 answer key objection process

Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer in the provisional answer key can raise objections online by following these steps:

• Visit the official WBJEEB website
• Login using the application number and password
• Select the question ID(s) to challenge
• Upload valid supporting documents or proof
• Pay the required objection fee
• Submit the challenge form online

The board has stated that challenges without proper proof or unsuccessful fee payment transactions will not be considered.

WBJEE 2026 answer key challenge fee

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 for each question challenged. The fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI.

Candidates can challenge any number of questions, but the objections can be submitted only once through the portal.

All objections submitted by candidates will be reviewed by WBJEEB experts. If a challenge is found to be correct, the final answer key will be revised accordingly.

The board has clarified that its decision on the reviewed answer keys will be final, and no further requests, appeals, or communication regarding the challenges will be accepted later.
