The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher posts under the Teacher Cadre JTC Recruitment 2026. The process is being conducted for a total of 58 vacancies across multiple teaching categories.
According to the official notice, the online application process has commenced from April 6, 2026, and will remain open until April 27, 2026. Candidates are required to complete the application procedure within the stipulated timeline, including fee payment, through the official UPSSSC portal.
Application schedule and process detailsThe last date for submission of application forms and payment of fees is April 27, 2026. Applicants will be allowed to make corrections in their submitted forms until May 4, 2026. The examination date has not yet been announced, while admit cards are expected to be released prior to the examination. The result schedule will be notified at a later stage.
The application fee has been fixed at Rs 25 for all categories, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PH candidates. Payments can be made online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, or mobile wallet services.
Vacancy distribution across postsThe recruitment drive covers several teaching positions within the JTC cadre. These include 24 posts for Assistant Teacher (JTC Grade Teacher), eight posts for Assistant Teacher (Music), and eight posts for Assistant Teacher JTC Grade Teacher. In addition, four vacancies are available for Assistant Teacher HTC Grade Teacher.
Further, there are multiple allocations under Assistant Teacher JTC Grade, including two posts in one category, ten in another, and two additional posts under a separate classification. The advertisement has been issued under Advt. No. 03 Exam 2026.

Candidates applying for the posts must hold a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard. Educational qualifications include passing the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognised board along with a Diploma in Special Education in the relevant trade. Applicants are also required to have valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
The minimum age for applicants is 21 years, while the maximum age is 40 years as on July 1, 2026. Age relaxation provisions will be applicable as per UPSSSC recruitment rules.
