UPSC finalises April 2026 recruitment results, recommended candidates informed: Check complete details here
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that it has finalised a series of recruitment results during April 2026. According to the Commission, candidates who have been recommended for appointment have already been informed individually through post. The recruitment process, conducted under UPSC's established selection framework, involved the scrutiny of applications and the assessment of eligible candidates for vacancies across departments and services.
The Commission said that all candidates whose names have been recommended for appointment have been formally notified. The recommendations follow the conclusion of the prescribed recruitment procedures, including interviews and evaluations wherever applicable.
UPSC noted that the selected candidates have been informed directly regarding their candidature and the outcome of the recruitment process.
In its statement, the Commission clarified that applications submitted by all eligible candidates were duly examined during the recruitment exercise. However, it said that it was not possible to call every applicant for an interview or recommend them for the advertised posts.
The Commission expressed regret to candidates who could not be shortlisted or selected, reiterating that their applications had been considered as part of the recruitment process.
