Students can follow these steps to access their marksheets online:
Last year, the Punjab Board announced the Class 12 results on May 14 for examinations held between February 19 and April 4. The overall pass percentage stood at 93 per cent.
Out of 2,65,388 students who appeared for the examination in 2025, a total of 2,41,506 students were declared successful.
In 2024, the board announced the Class 12 results on April 30, while detailed marks were made available on May 1. The results in 2023 and 2022 were declared on May 25 and June 28, respectively, while the 2021 results were announced on July 31.
Over the past three years, the overall Class 12 pass percentage in Punjab has remained between 91 and 95 per cent. Girls have also consistently performed better than boys in the board examinations.
Earlier, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced that the state would implement an On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for evaluating answer sheets.
Under the new system, teachers assess scanned copies of answer sheets digitally instead of checking physical answer booklets. With this move, Punjab has become one of the first state boards in the country to adopt end-to-end digital evaluation for board examinations.
