NTA extends registration deadline for ICAR AIEEA PG, AICE JRF/SRF 2026: Check new dates here
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application deadline for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) All India Entrance Examination for Admission Postgraduate (AIEEA PG) 2026 and All India Competitive Examination (AICE) Junior Research Fellowship/Senior Research Fellowship (JRF/SRF) (PhD) 2026.
Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their application forms through the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/icar, till June 10, 2026. The decision was taken after requests were received from aspiring candidates and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
According to the latest notice issued by NTA, the registration process for both entrance examinations is currently underway.

Candidates are advised to complete the registration process before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
The entrance examinations will be conducted on July 4, 2026.
The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) examination will be held for 72 subjects across 89 cities. Meanwhile, the ICAR AIEEA PG examination will cover 20 subjects and be conducted in 122 cities across the country.
The category-wise application fee for the entrance examinations is given below:
Both AIEEA PG and AICE JRF/SRF 2026 examinations will be conducted for a duration of two hours.
The question paper will contain 120 questions. Candidates will be awarded four marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Important instructions for PwBD candidates
Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories will have their Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card details verified by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
Those who do not possess a UDID Card must upload a valid disability certificate during the application process. The certificate may be verified by the issuing authority if required.
