NIOS Class 10, 12 date sheet 2026: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 theory exams for April 2026. According to the official notice, the exams will begin from April 10, 2026, and will be conducted at designated exam centres across India.
The institute has made the full schedule available on its official website. Students appearing for the Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) exams can check their subject-wise exam dates online.
The practical exams are currently underway for Class 10 and 12. The practical exams began on March 17 and will continue till April 1, 2026.
According to the detailed schedule released yesterday, March 25, 2026, the theory exams will start from April 10. Most exams will be held in the afternoon shift, generally from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, depending on the subject.
The exams will continue till May 6, 2026. The schedule includes a wide range of subjects for both Class 10 and Class 12 students.

Students will be able to download their hall tickets from the official NIOS website before the exams. They will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the exam starts.

NIOS has informed that the results are expected to be declared around seven weeks after the last exam. The results will be made available online.
