NEET UG 2026 re-exam city slip soon: Expected release date, how to download and latest updates

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be held on June 21, and candidates are now awaiting the release of the city intimation slip.

The re-test was announced after the National Testing Agency (NTA) cancelled the May 3 examination following allegations of a paper leak. Since then, students have been waiting for the next important update in the examination process.

The city intimation slip is usually released before the admit card. It tells candidates the city where they have been allotted an examination centre. This helps students and their families make travel arrangements in advance, particularly if they have been assigned a centre outside their home city.

Candidates can expect the slip for the June 21 re-exam to be released around June 7 or June 8. Once released, candidates will be able to download the city intimation slip from the official NEET website.

• Submit the details.
• The allotted examination city will appear on the screen.
• Download and save the slip for future reference.
• Candidates may also take a printout for convenience.

Candidates must note that the city intimidation slip will not esure the entry to enter the exam hall and the candidates must carry the admit card, set to be released soon after the release of the city intimidation slip.
