The National Testing Agency announced the final answer key for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for 2026 on June 4, 2026. Final evaluation documents for candidates who took this exam will be posted soon on the official NCET website.

The final key will be utilised to finalize scorecards and merit lists, so it's the final step in the admissions process. NCET 2026 results will be available within a few days of the release of the final answer key.

Among these candidates, only those who were successful in the exam will be eligible to apply for a total of 16,950 seats in the institutions that will be participating in this admission process. 223 institutions will offer these admissions, including 5 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 5 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and 4 Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs).
