JEE Main 2026 answer key: According to the NTA, the last date for raising objections against provisional answer keys of JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 is April 13, 2026. The time allotted for filing an objection against the provisional answers has been fixed up till 11:50 PM. No objection raised after that period will be entertained in any case.
The provisional answer keys, along with the question paper and the response sheet of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) are available on the website. Those students who have appeared in the examination can go through their responses and raise objections on them.
Examination Held in Different CentresJEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted on April 02, 04, 05, 06 and 08, while Paper 2A (B.Arch.) & Paper 2B (B.Planning) is conducted on April 07. The examination was held in 567 centres in 306 cities within the territory of India and 14 cities overseas.
Objections can be raised at present against the answer keys of Paper 1 only.
• Direct link to check and file objection (if any) against JEE Main answer key 2026Payment of fees is compulsory for each challengeFor filing a challenge, the candidates have to make a payment of Rs 200 per question which is a non-refundable processing fee. Payments can be made using any of the following modes: debit card, credit card, and net banking. Challenge that does not come with a fee payment will not be entertained.
Payment deadline for fee payment shall be same as for objections filing and shall close by April 13, 2026 11:50 PM. Candidates will not be allowed to use any other method of fee payment.
Steps for submitting objections onlineCandidates need to login into the official website using application number and password. After clicking on the challenge button, they need to select their desired question ID and pick the option they want.
Candidates should upload the supporting documents as one PDF file. On selection of options, candidates need to submit their claims and then make the payment.
Final answer key and result compilationIn case of any valid challenge, the answer key would be modified. The modified answer key would be uniformly applied for all candidates, and the final results would be compiled on the basis of the modified answer key.
The commission has clearly stated that the candidates would not be notified about acceptance or rejection of their challenges individually. The final answer key made by the subject experts would be conclusive and binding.
