IIT JAM 2026 answer key: The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) will close the objection window for the Joint Admission Test for MSc 2026 (IIT JAM 2026) provisional answer key today, February 27, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the examination and are not satisfied with any answer must submit their challenges before the deadline through the official portal.
IIT Bombay had earlier released the provisional answer key along with the response sheet on its official website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in. Along with checking their marked responses, candidates can use the provisional answer key to calculate their probable scores.
To raise objections, candidates need to log in to the JOAPS portal using their enrolment ID or email ID and password. The challenge facility is available only online, and no objections will be accepted after the closing time today.
Once the objection window closes, IIT Bombay will review all the challenges submitted by candidates. After this process is completed, the institute will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the IIT JAM 2026 results.
According to the official schedule, the IIT JAM 2026 result will be declared on March 20, 2026. Candidates who qualify the examination will be able to download their scorecards from March 27, 2026.
The computer-based IIT JAM 2026 examination was conducted on February 15, 2026 for admission to Master of Science programmes offered by Indian Institutes of Technology and other participating institutes across India.
