Delhi University Vice Chancellor internship programme 2026: The University of Delhi (DU) will close the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) – Summer Internship 2026 today, April 30, 2026. Previously, the last date to apply was April 27, which has now been shifted to April 30. Interested and eligible candidates can move to the official website to register for the internship. It is set to take place during the summer vacation months of June and July. The selected interns will get to work with different departments and institutions in the university as they continue working on current projects. They will also gain an understanding of governance and the coordination of research in the institution.
Unlike traditional internships where students have to observe more than anything else, VCIS allows students to actively participate in the process. Students are supposed to engage, contribute, and at times even do things alone; this can greatly enhance their CVs and academic profiles. Students will be required to spend 20 hours per week on internship work. In return, the university offers a monthly stipend of ₹11,576
