The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended the registration deadline for the Senior Executive Trainee (SET) Recruitment 2026. Candidates can now apply till March 31, 2026. The application process is being held online through the official recruitment portal. Earlier, the last date to submit the form was March 7. The extension gives more time to engineering and finance graduates who wish to join the public sector telecom company.
BSNL is conducting this recruitment to fill posts in the Telecom and Finance streams. Eligible candidates must complete the online form and fee payment before the revised deadline. The recruitment will be done through a computer-based test.
BSNL has announced a total of 120 vacancies for the Senior Executive Trainee posts. Out of these, 95 posts are for the Telecom stream and 25 posts are for the Finance stream.
With the deadline now extended to March 31, candidates who have not yet applied can submit their forms online. Applicants are advised not to wait for the last day to avoid technical issues. For the Telecom stream, candidates must have a full-time BE or BTech degree in relevant branches such as Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or related fields. A minimum of 60% marks is required.
For the Finance stream, candidates must have a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualification.
The minimum age required is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years as per the cut-off date mentioned in the notification. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
