International Association for the Study of Pain

Prof. Ghai is the first Indian to be nominated and selected for this post. IASP is the highest and leading professional forum for science, practice, and education in the field of pain and the
WCP
is a prestigious international multidisciplinary pain conference of IASP held once in every two years.
Additionally, Prof. Ghai attained many other accolades to her credit during this conference. She was selected as a member of
Developing country working group
(
DCWG
) training advocacy program of IASP as well as was invited as one of the international guest faculty to deliver a talk and workshop faculty to conduct hands on workshop on Ultrasound Guided nerve blocks at this conference.
She also contributed a chapter on “Postoperative Pain control for older persons” in one of the IASP international books titled “Pain after Surgery”, Edited by renowned experts in the filed of pain management (
