LUCKNOW:
APJ Kalam Technical University
has directed its 520 affiliated colleges to post photographs, videos and details of their induction programmes on their respective website by January 30. Colleges failing to do so will face strict action.
The decision has been taken to ensure that colleges organise induction programmes for their students.
The programme includes a lecture series, a seminar on industry-oriented topics, yoga classes and special tours to make students versed with the city of their college. The exercise is intended to help students gain extra knowledge apart from the curriculum.
The direction of uploading the induction programme videos will assure that colleges don't skip this exercise.
"Organising an induction programme has been made mandatory by
All Indian Council for Technical Education
. It helps students enhance their knowledge," said
AKTU
spokesperson Ashish Mishra.
