The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has commenced the registration process for AP LAWCET 2026. Candidates seeking admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes in Andhra Pradesh can now apply online. The entrance exam will be conducted on May 4, 2026. The application window opened on February 12. Eligible candidates must submit their forms through the official portal within the prescribed deadline. The exam will be held in computer-based mode at designated centres across the state. Applicants are advised to carefully check eligibility criteria, important dates and fee details before completing the registration process to avoid errors.

AP LAWCET exam date and courses offered

AP LAWCET 2026 will be conducted on May 4, 2026. The AP LAWCET is an entrance test to get admissions to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses. For LLM programs, AP PGLCET 2026 will be required.

The exam is mandatory for admissions into law colleges of Andhra Pradesh for the academic session 2026-27. The details of the exam schedule, time, and shift would be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate has to bring the admit card with them.

How to apply for AP LAWCET 2026

Candidates must apply online through the official AP LAWCET portal of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

First, click on the “Fee Payment” link and complete the payment using debit card, credit card or net banking. After successful payment, note the transaction details.

Next, move on to the application form. Fill the form carefully, providing your personal information, academic qualifications, and contact information. Also, choose the exam center of your choice from the options provided.

Upload scanned images of your latest passport-sized photograph and signature in the correct format. All the information should be reviewed before submitting. Submit the form and download the confirmation page. Candidates should keep a printout for future reference.

AP LAWCET Registration schedule and late fee details

The registration process began on February 12, 2026. Candidates can apply without paying a late fee till March 12, 2026. After this date, applications will be accepted with a late fee as per the schedule announced by APSCHE.

The last dates with late fee are March 16, March 20, March 24 and March 28. The late fee amount will increase in stages. It is recommended that the form be filled early to avoid additional costs.
