AP EAPCET 2026 scorecards delayed; Scores to be released after Intermediate Supplementary results
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has decided to release the AP EAPCET 2026 results only after the announcement of the Intermediate betterment and advanced supplementary examination results.
According to an official notice issued on the AP EAPCET website, the result declaration has been postponed following advice from higher authorities. The decision has been taken to ensure that students who appeared for Intermediate supplementary or improvement examinations are not placed at a disadvantage during the admission process.
Authorities said the move will allow updated Intermediate marks to be considered during counselling and seat allotment for professional courses.
The delay is intended to give equal opportunities to all candidates. Many students take betterment and supplementary examinations to improve their scores and meet eligibility requirements for engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programmes.
By waiting for the Intermediate results, officials aim to ensure that the latest academic performance of students is reflected during the counselling process. Education authorities have maintained that the step is being taken in the interest of fairness and transparency.
The postponement has created uncertainty among many candidates who were expecting the EAPCET results soon. Traditionally, the declaration of AP EAPCET results marks the beginning of the admission season for professional courses across Andhra Pradesh.
However, officials have assured students that the revised timeline will help maintain a level playing field for all aspirants.
The AP EAPCET 2026 examination was conducted from May 12 to May 20. For engineering candidates, the examination was held from May 12 to May 15 and again on May 18. The agriculture and medical stream examinations took place on May 19 and May 20.
The provisional answer key was released on May 25, while candidates were allowed to raise objections until May 27.
Once the results are announced, APSCHE will begin the counselling process for eligible candidates. Students will first have to complete online registration and document verification.
After that, authorities will share a mock seat list, letting candidates check their options before the final one drops. Students getting a preferred college seat have to pay the fees to lock it in. If they aren't happy with the allocation, they can try again in later counseling sessions.
The entire counselling process will be conducted online and seat allotment will be based on candidates' performance and eligibility.
