OSSC Recruitment 2022: More than 60 vacancies for Junior Laboratory Assistants, Registration starts on Sept 26

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Junior Laboratory Assistant as “Initial Appointee” under the Director of Technical Education & Training, Odisha, Cuttack.

There are 64 vacancies as notified by OSSC through the recruitment notification. The registration process will begin on Sept 26, 2022, and the last date for the online application form submission is October 25, 2022.

Educational Qualifications for OSSC Junior Laboratory Assistant Recruitment 2022:
∙ Age limit is 12-38 years as on January 01, 2022. There is upper age relaxation for reserved categories as per the Odisha Government rules
∙ Candidate must have done a Diploma in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Bio-Technology OR B.Sc in Physics (PCM) OR B.Sc in Chemistry (PCM). The educational qualification is subjected to the post you are applying for

∙ On the homepage, click on the ‘Apply Online option
∙ If you are applying for the first time, register yourself for the post by clicking on the ‘New User’ button.
∙ On submitting the registration form, a user id and password will be generated
∙ Now read the instructions carefully and proceed toward filling out the application form
∙ Fill in the details correctly and upload the required documents
∙ Submit the application form and take a printout of it for future reference

Pay Scale for Junior Laboratory Assistant:

The consolidated monthly remuneration for the first year is Rs 14,000.

Besides 64 vacancies, there are six special vacancies as well. These include two for Ex-Serviceman, one for Sports Person & three for PwD.
