VISAKHAPATNAM: In a surprising development, the four MPs who recently shifted loyalties to the
BJP from the
TDP have been speaking in support of the TDP over the last few days.
Speaking on the remarks made by these MPs,
YSRC
general secretary
Koyya Prasad Reddy
said on Sunday that the comments indicate that
Naidu
has himself sent these MPs to BJP to safeguard his interests.
Speaking to the media in Visakhapatnam, Prasad Reddy further alleged that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is acting on the behest of Naidu on the issue of Amaravati.
The YSRC general secretary said, “The TDP has been spewing venom against the state government despite its pro-people policies and good governance in the last three months. Their mudslinging is not only limited to Amaravati, but also is on the progress of the Polavaram project and other developmental activities.”
He also added that Pawan Kalyan’s comments show his intolerance towards the newly-elected government.
