, USA on June 1, will be brought to the city either on Friday night or Saturday morning.

Speaking to TOI, Centre of Indian Trade Unions leader Ch

back to Visakhapatnam.

The body will be released from the medical examiner’s office in the US on Friday morning and it will be flown to the city on Friday night, probably, he added.

Earlier, Avinash’s friends in USA created a portal ‘Go Fund Me’ to raise money to send Avinash’s body to India and help his family financially.

Avinash, who did his MS in computer science from New Mexico State University in 2014 and later got a job as a software engineer with UPS, resided in Parsippany. The software engineer had recently started sending some money to his parents K Janardhanamma and K Venkateswara Rao, who is an employee with Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) and active member of trade union CITU.

Meanwhile, relatives and friends of Avinash in India said on Thursday that his family had eagerly waited for his visit to India as they had planned to marry him off this year, but now they will be receiving his body.
