Eminent doctor passes away in Tirupati

TIRUPATI: Dr B Govinda Narayana, resident

medical officer

at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (

SVIMS

) passed away on Sunday night after suffering a heart attack while undergoing treatment at the superspecialty hospital in Tirupati.

A condolence meeting was held at SVIMS on Monday. Director cum vice-chancellor, Fellow doctors commemorated the services rendered by Dr Narayana who joined the institution in 2000 as a resident medical officer and served for 19 long years.tnn
