Ahead of new govt in AP, CS goes on leave

Vijayawada: Chief secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy went on leave after prompted by the General Administration Department.
Earlier in the day, the chief secretary met chief minister-designate N Chandrababu Naidu at his Undavalli residence.
Finance special chief secretary S S Ravath has also applied for medical leave. However, it is not known whether the govt had cleared his leave or not. The govt also issued orders to stop surrendering the officers on deputation to the state. Several officials have already applied to the department to relieve them to go to their parent department. However, the GAD had asked them all to stay back till further orders. Meanwhile, govt has cancelled appointment of 20 advisors.
