VARANASI: The headmaster of a primary school and his son in
Azamgarh district were arrested for allegedly beating a woman shiksha mitra and terrorizing her with a pistol on Sunday after a video of the incident went viral on social media.

Alok was also carrying a pistol in his hand. Someone posted a video of the incident on social media.
The incident took place in full public view during pulse polio programme.
Bardah station officer Suresh Chandra told TOI that the headmaster and his son were booked under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC.

Ajay Kumar Sahni told TOI over phone that the FIR was lodged by Sudha Singh against them and both of them were arrested.
