VADODARA/ ANAND: Vice president (VP) M Venkaiah Naidu will be in Anand on Saturday for a two-day visit.
Naidu will first visit the
National Dairy Development Board
(NDDB) campus after which he will attend the 40th year celebrations of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA).
On Saturday afternoon, Naidu will take part in the platinum jubilee celebrations of Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), the education trust which has decided to felicitate A M Naik, group chairman of L&T at Shastri Maidan in a grand function.
A block of a school at CVM will be named in Naik’s honour.
On Sunday, Naidu will grace the 62nd annual convocation ceremony of
Sardar Patel University
(SPU) in education town Vallabh Vidyanagar. Here he will deliver the convocation address as the chief guest while
Gujarat
governor Acharya Devvrat, who is also chancellor of the university, will be the guest of honour.
