BJP ward prez booked for threatening builder

Vadodara: A city-based builder was allegedly threatened by president of BJP’s ward 15 unit and his accomplice, who also tried to extort Rs 25 lakh from him.

went to the building site of Ankil Shah near

Reva Park Garba Ground

on Waghodia Road on Saturday night.

They abused the labourers working there and beat them up. They threatened Shah that if he wanted to continue with the construction, he should pay them Rs 25 lakh.

“We have registered the complaint and would arrest Joshi and Mali soon,” said a police official.
