Two die as minivan rams truck

TRICHY: Two workers on board a cargo van were killed as the

van collided with a lorry

while attempting to overtake it on a

four-way lane

near Vilar in Thanjavur on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Agustin, 31, and Munusamy , 31, both from Thuvakudi in Trichy. The minivan was loaded with

oxygen cylinders

, and was travelling from

Thuvakudi to Tiruvarur

. The driver of the van, Baskaran, 40, also suffered serious injuries.
