Innovator targets parties with symbol shaped LED lights

Pudukottai: A Pudukottai-based innovator has come up with a campaign tool—rechargeable LED handheld lights featuring party symbols to enhance visibility during night-time canvassing.Designed using acrylic and embedded with illuminated emblems, the devices aim to help party workers effectively display their symbols to the public, especially during late evening campaigns, the manufacturer said. Manufacturer Kamal Sudhakar said the product was developed keeping in mind the changing dynamics of modern-day election campaigns. "In this modern election era, we have developed rechargeable LED lights fitted with party symbols to make it easier to showcase these emblems during nighttime campaigning. These lights help convey party symbols effectively and attractively to the general public. I have been working to manufacture this for the past eight months," he said. Last 10 days there have been orders, but there should be more as parties announce their candidates and campaigns begin, he added.
