T'puram: City police have placed special traffic and parking arrangements in view of NEET exam to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. The examination will begin at 9.30am, and a large influx of candidates and accompanying parents is expected across multiple centres in the city.
As part of the arrangements, vehicles dropping candidates must not halt on main roads or cause congestion. After dropping students, vehicles should be moved immediately to designated parking areas.
Parking has been permitted at Attukal Parking Ground and corporation's multilevel car parking facilities at Thampanoor and Palayam. In addition, roadside parking will be allowed in a regulated manner along selected stretches, including Kowdiar–Kuravankonam, Women's College–Vazhuthacaud, Nandavanam–Museum, Sangeetha College–Palayam (via NORKA–Spencer Road), Pulimoodu–Ayurveda College, Attakkulangara–Killipalam Road, PMG–Law College Road, Assembly–Vikas Bhavan Road, AKG–General Hospital Road, Paruthippara–Kesavadasapuram Road, Kesavadasapuram–Plamoodu, Jagathy–Edappazhinji Road, and Model School–Panavila Road. Parking is allowed only on specified sides of these roads and should not obstruct traffic flow.
