The album, ‘Onam Vanne,’ consists of two songs written by school principal K Lailas, and composed by music teacher K C Rema. Album was directed by Anil Karet, a renowned playwright, and Nishand Abdul Kareem, a teacher at Pattom Government Girls Higher Secondary School, did the video editing. The members of Sargavani, the teacher’s association of the school, along with the students are featured in the album. There are two versions of the same Onam song, one composed by the music teacher and the other by a former student Adarsh Sunil.

“I took the initiative to go with the idea of an Onam song after a discussion with the principal and members of Sargavani. We recorded the songs at Benson Creation recording studio in the city. Teachers and students wholeheartedly worked as a team to visualize the song,” said music teacher and composer K C Rema. The songs spread the message of rebuilding strong bonds in relationships, especially with parents. K C Rema added that the album successfully portrays the vacuum that happens within the relationships while leaving home after Onam celebrations. Vattiyoorkavu MLA V K Prasanth released the music video album.
