Thousands throng Narendra Modi’s meeting in Valsad

A senior KG student was waving at Narendra Modi with roses in one hand and chocolate in other for almost 15 minutes from VIP enclosure. Kashvi Desai, daughter of a property developer, Bhavesh from Valsad, attracted everyone’s attention. “She is a fan of the Prime Minister and wants to meet him once. She had brought roses and chocolate for the Prime Minister,” Bhavesh said.
Land owners argued with cops
A group of guests entered into an argument with cops at the entry point in Jujva when they were not allowed to enter the dome for not having valid entry passes. The guests told police they were the owners of the land on which the event was taking place and that they had forgot the entry passes in their cars.
Kids face problem in reaching school
A number of students from I P Gandhi School, which was exactly in front of the venue of Prime Minister’s event at Jujva village, faced problem in reaching school. Students not carrying their identity cards were not allowed to enter the school premises. They had to walk down to their homes located at a distance of a few kilometres.
Several trees chopped for helipad
Several trees were chopped by the authorities to build a helipad near the venue of the event at Jujva. It took two days for the authorities to chop the trees from an open land behind I P Gandhi School and also for the helipad.
Pickpockets make a fortune
Thousands of people were jostling with each other to reach their vehicles parked around the venue of the event at Jujva and it was then that pickpockets made a fortune. A number of people were found complaining of having lost their wallets. A few had even reached Valsad rural police station to complain about their losses.

A group of 15 women from Valsad came with a 12-feet long rakhi for Narendra Modi at Jujva. Modi noticed the group and accepted the women’s best wishes before the Rakshabandhan festival.
