Man arrested for murder

Surat: The prevention of crime branch (PCB) nabbed murder accused Bapi alias Zurinath alias Kurinath Gaud (34) from Pandesara area on Monday. PCB had got a tip-off that Bapi was working in a factory in Pandesara. The PCB teams checked 400 factories and found that Bapi lived in Ganeshnagar society. In 2006, Bapi was accused of murdering Buddhiram Shetty along with his friends in Mandarwaja area. After the murder, Bapi fled to Kerala and worked in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also. Bapi had returned to Surat recently.
