CM inaugurates ‘Jamnaba Vidhyarthi Bhavan’
Surat: State chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Jamnaba Vidyarthi Bhavan’, a modern student hostel developed by Shri Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj to provide advanced educational facilities for students of the Patidar community.The grand facility, built at Valak Patiya , is equipped with residential and study amenities for 1,000 students, along with an AI research lab and an advanced library to support higher education and skill development.As part of the inauguration, deputy chief minister Harsh Sanghvi unveiled a 31-feet-tall Panchadhatu statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, weighing around nine tonnes. The dignitaries paid floral tributes at the statue.An auditorium named after former chief minister Keshubhai Patel was also inaugurated on the occasion.As part of an austerity initiative, the CM travelled to Surat by train and used a limited convoy of vehicles during the visit.
