Surat: 17-year-old rides Ferrari to finalize date for diksha

Seventeen-year-old Stuti Shah

, who has decided to embrace monkhood on February 26,

2020

, took a ride in a Ferrari car on Monday to reach take appointment for her diksha from her guru. The car she rode was once owned by cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and now driven by Jayesh Desai of Rajhans Desai Group.

A class X passout, Stuti has been living life of a monk since last two years at her paternal home in Gopipura.

Stuti’s father Suresh Shah, a printing press owner, wanted to maker her daughters journey to her guru special as after becoming a monk she would never ride a car.

So Shah requested Desai to lend his car for a day to which the latter readily agreed. Stuti’s cavalcade to Kailashnagar Jain Sangh included array of luxury cars, motorcycles and a music band.

While accpeting the invitation for Diksha from her guru, Stuti spoke in Gujarati, English and Sanskrit. Stuti used to be a dancer and has won accolades at state level dancing contests.

Her family members said that Stuti wanted to become a motivator so she chose to become a monk and attain salvation.
