Of 363 new Covid-19 cases in 3 states, 203 in Haryana

SHIMLA/CHANDIGARH: The three states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh reported 363 new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday.
Haryana reported 203 cases, while Himachal Pradesh reported 94 cases and Punjab got 66 cases .
In the hill state, 72 patients also recovered. The state has a total of 3,14,707 confirmed positive cases of which 1,218 cases are active,.
Maximum 21 positive cases have been reported from Hamirpur district, 16 from Kangra, 14 from Mandi, 12 from Shimla, eight from Chamba, seven from Bilaspur, six from Kullu, five from Sirmaur, three from Solan and two from Una district.
In Punjab, 21 cases were reported in Mohali, 11 in Ludhiana, 10 in Jalandhar, seven in Amritsar, six in Ferozepur, five in Patiala, two each in Bathinda and Fatehgarh Sahib and one each in Fardikot and Moga. As many as 376 patients are undergoing treatment.
The positivity rate of Covid cases in Haryana on Sunday reached 5.54%, as the state reported 203 new cases.
No fatality was reported. Increased positivity rate has impacted recovery rate. There are 724 active cases in the state. Gurugram reported 99 cases, followed by 30 cases in Faridabad, 24 in Panchkkula, 13 in Yamunanagar, 11 in Jind, nine in Karnal,seven in Ambala, four in Sirsa. Panipat and Jhajjar reported two cases each. One case each was reported from Hisar and Sonipat.
