Time has come to rewrite or revive rules about development near river banks.Similar to hightide levels and markings near sea, which becomes no-development zone, river banks with high tide markings should not allow any legal or illegal development or time simlar to Gaurikund ( base of Kedarnath) wherein 14 story hotel was gutted in river bed, is not far away from reality in towns near river beds
