Shillong: Union minister of ports, shipping & waterways (MoPSW) and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal attended the MoU signing event between the MoPSW and the IIM-Shillong to set up India’s first ‘Gati Shakti Research Chair’ here on Friday. The chair will spearhead research on multimodal logistics with focus on the northeast, reports Manosh Das.

PM Modi to chair council of ministers meet on March 3

Shillong will host Northeast 3x3 Basketball Challenge from March 1

The 8th edition of Northeast 3x3 Basketball Challenge, organized by Touchline Basketball and Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, starts on March 1 at St Anthony's Higher Secondary School. The event is endorsed by World Basketball Federation and Basketball Federation of India.
