TSUISL officer dies by suicide citing work pressure

JAMSHEDPUR: Om Prakash Sahu (56), a senior sanitary supervisor at Tata Steel Utility and Infrastructure Services Ltd (TSUISL), died by suicide in his office room on Wednesday. Inspector R N Singh of Golmuri police station said, "In the suicide note, the deceased stated that workload on him has increased tremendously and it was difficult for him to sustain the pressure."

Sahu's handwritten note further revealed that the company had extended his operational area, making it challenging for him to manage his work on time.TSUISL, in a statement, assured that they would provide all necessary assistance as per the company policy.

Mumbai: Goregaon man dies by suicide; wife strangled, suspect police

A couple in their mid-fifties was found dead at a Goregaon housing society on Friday. Kishore Pednekar was found near potted plants in the compound after allegedly jumping off the building. A second-year intermediate student, Jamisha Qureshi, was found dead by suicide at the Rajiv Gandhi IIIT campus in Kadapa district.
